What is probably Austria's best-known winter sports spot offers plenty of good reasons to spend your holiday in Ischgl. From the end of November to the beginning of May, you can carve your turns on the pistes in the Ischgl/Samnaun ski area. The extensive and varied pistes offer no end of fun for skiiers and snowboarders.
Enjoy a cross-country ski paradise in the heart of the magnificent mountains. Awaiting you is a large choice of cross-country ski trails offering every level of difficulty. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you'll find what you want here, from easy to challenging. As well as traditional cross-country skiing, you also have the option of exploring the mountains on skates.
Ischgl/Samnaun ski area - Winter fans will find around 238 kilometres of beautifully prepared pistes and 45 modern gondolas and lifts. Whether snowboarding or skiing, there is endless ski fun to be had on jumps in the Funpark or when free-riding in powder away from the pistes. From the beginners' area with its wide slopes through to challenging precipices, it's all here for you.
Enjoy some moments of peace, the gentle crunch of the snow beneath your feet, the fresh, clear mountain air and the magnificent snowy winter landscape of the Paznaun. The countless winter hiking routes around Ischgl are perfectly prepared, marked and sign-posted. Take a break from the daily grind and relax.
Enjoy a fast and fun tobogganing adventure in the Silvretta arena. The longest tobogganing routes in the Alps await you here, with seven kilometres from an altitude of 950 metres. You can also have night-time fun here every Monday and Thursday. The toboggan run is illuminated and promises a whole lot of tobogganing fun from mid-December through to the beginning of April.
